The Big Give Christmas Campaign 2026

ONE DONATION. DOUBLE THE IMPACT. MORE YOUNG PEOPLE SUPPORTED.

This Christmas, your donation could go twice as far!

From 1st - 8th December, Brave Mind is taking part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge, where eligible donations made through our campaign page will be doubled through matched funding.

We're aiming to raise £10,000 to help more young people aged 16–24 access the tools, knowledge and confidence they need to understand, manage and talk openly about their mental health.

Why Your Support Matters

Sport has an incredible ability to bring people together. It creates friendships, builds confidence and gives young people a community they can turn to when things get tough.

At Brave Mind, we use that connection to open up conversations about mental health and provide practical, psychologist-led education in schools, colleges, universities and sports clubs.

Your donation will help us reach more young people, giving them the confidence to recognise when they're struggling, look after their mental health and ask for help when they need it.

We also work with coaches, teachers, parents and carers, helping them recognise the signs that someone might need support and feel confident stepping in early.

Together, we can create sporting communities where mental health is understood, talked about and supported.

Take On The Don't Drop The Ball Challenge

100 passes, one team and a chance to make a difference.

This December, we're inviting sports clubs, schools, universities and businesses to take on our Don't Drop The Ball Challenge.

Whether you're at training, in the classroom or taking a break with colleagues, it's an opportunity to bring people together, check in with one another, start conversations about mental health and raise vital funds to support young people.

Here's how to get involved:

  1. Take on the challenge.

Gather your team and attempt 100 passes without dropping the ball.

2. Start a conversation.

Use the opportunity to check with your teammates. Ask how they’re doing, listen and remind each other that support is there when it’s needed. Sometimes, a simple conversation can make a real difference.

3. Double your impact.

Ask your teammates, colleagues, friends and family to donate directly through Brave Mind's Big Give Christmas Challenge page between 1st - 8th December, when eligible donations can be doubled through matched funding.

4. Spread the word.

Film your attempt, share it on social media and nominate another team to take part. Tag @_bravemind and use #DontDropTheBall and #TheBigGive

How To Donate

To qualify for matched funding, donations must be made directly through Brave Mind's Big Give Christmas Challenge page between 1st - 8th December 2026. Donations through other fundraising platforms won't be eligible.

We'll share the donation link here when the campaign opens on 1 December.

Help Us Change The Game For Youth Mental Health

Whether you're taking on the challenge, encouraging your team to get involved or making a donation, your support will help us reach more young people and build communities where no one feels they have to face their mental health challenges alone.
