Non-Urgent Support

Book an appointment with your GP

You can contact your GP and ask for an appointment. Your GP will listen to you and make a suggestion for the best way to help. They might offer you face-to-face or online talking therapy or medication. They won’t make you take medication unless you want to.

Self-referral

There are a number of online self-referral services available through the NHS where you can access therapy. IESO health run online CBT across many areas of the UK.

Sporting Wellness

The Sporting Wellness UK support system is specifically designed for mental health issues that young sports people involved in representative sport are experiencing. For young sports people who meet the eligibility criteria, they arrange a free and confidential telephone, FaceTime or in person chat and then develop a process of support from there.
